The U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of State published a joint notice in the Federal Register today announcing that they will consider public comments on the immigration system. The notice includes a list of specific areas of the immigration system about which they seek input, and it includes three broad subjects, including Streamlining the Legal Immigration System, Ensuring Use of All Immigrant Visa Numbers, and Modernizing IT Infrastructure. Comments will be accepted through January 29, 2015.
